A Super Great Week

Hellllooooo! How are you guys? This week was super good! SOOO much contacting it is sweet, and this week was divisions so that was an exciting change of pace. A lot of people have been saying recently that they are impressed by my Spanish, and when I was on divisions my companion gave me a high five for having the gift of tounges, so that has been really exciting\comforting\pureawesomeness\humbling but yeah so that has been good. Umm we are officially out of gas again at our house so that is reallll fun, no hot water :D. But right now all of investigators are in a part of our area called Lo Malinda and it is like a 40 min walk from our house. With all of this walking I have been loosing weight like crazy - it is pretty sweet. But right now we have decided to concentrate on the part member families in our area, and we have one guy that if we can help reactivate him, and he gets his family to follow, we have about 40 potential baptisms, because all his kids are members but none of his grand kids. whooohooo, so I am hoping all that works out. But I hope things with you guys are awesome!

Pizza Buffett

HOLA! Soooooo this weeeeekkk, it was good! With all of this contacting we have so many things to do it is sweet! Like I already have the majority of this week planned because of all of our new investigators, its awesome. So I have really become to dislike dropping investigators its pretty sad :( but basically most of the investigators we had when I came into this area are not progessing so we have to drop them :(. But umm today we went to a pizza buffet with our zone and attached are pictures of that, it was amazing. So we have a really awesome investigator, his name is Angel and things are going really well with him. So I am really happy about his progession. Anyways I hope you guys are well!

The Craziest Taxi Driver in Mexico

HOLA! Que Tal?
So this week has been awesome, the higher ups have changed the weekly goals, and now we have to contact 50 people every week! Its pretty crazy, but after 1 week of trying (and failing) we got 11 new investigators so we are up to 21! So that is exciting, so the work here is good. So miracle story, so basically whenever someone wants us to get in their car in Mexico we do it, and so yesterday we were about to enter our desert and this taxi just starts backing up as fast as he can and says hey get in! So we do and he wants to give us a ride for free so that was awesome, but it turns out he is the craziest taxi driver in Mexico. We ran like 4 red lights with him, and then he dropped us off, and we countined to work. Then as we left a neighborhood this car pulled up and said hey are you missionaries? What church? Oh really? Get in! So we did, and we found a family of recent converts and investigators, who speak English! WHOOOHOOO it was sweet, and without Mr. crazy taxi, it wouldn't have happened, so yeah good times here in Mexico!

Clara Week

So this week was as me and my comp called Clara week, because for one of our investigators we had a wedding, baptism, then confirmation, back to back to back, it was sweeeetttt. And lets seeeee, we finally have hot water in our house again! One of the members in our ward knows the guy who owns our house so we came home one day and just out of the blue our boiler was fixed and we had a full tank of gas, so that was a huge blessing. Also funny story, so sometimes when we are walking people who see us just like pick us up and offer us rides places which is super nice of them, but this week was the first week I have really been able to understand when people speak, and a few weeks ago when I could not understand anything we were walking and a car stops in front of us and yelled out a like a megaphone we hear, Elders! Elders! So we walk over and my companion talks to the guy up front and then we get in the car and I look at this guy and he has a fully loaded AR 15 and extra ammo on him and so I don't know what he is saying so I am just thinking how we are going to die for about 10 min, then he drops us off at the church and then leaves, so I am super happy to be alive, and it turns out he is like an FBI agent who can't go to church because it would make the church unsafe because many people don't like him, so that was pretty sweet. Also it is super cold here in Mexico which I find odd, but my holidays were great, when it became the new hear it sounded like a war out side, BOOM BOOM BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM BOOM BOOOOOOOOOOM, it freaked me out but I lived. anywaysss
I hope you guys are doing well!
